Johnnie Walker’s brand line “Keep Walking” - now over 20 years old - is synonymous with taking bold steps.

In the past, these words have been about inspiring personal progress. Our challenge was to make people aware that going forward, “Keep Walking” is about inspiring collective progress - less about toasting your latest promotion, and more about reveling in bold steps you take to make life richer for everyone.

We created an “Anthem” spot that would inspire people to take bolder steps - both in life and in what they choose to drink. The song itself is an infectious, feel good mash-up of famous songs all about walking, including Run DMC and Aerosmith’s Walk this Way, Loretta Lynn’s version of the iconic These Boots Are Made for Walking, and Lou Reed’s 1970s’ classic Walk on the Wild Side.

Alongside the TV spot, we created epic city takeovers, projecting inspiring quotes from cultural trailblazers such as Grace Jones and Antonio Machado, over city skylines and cultural hotspots around the world.
